Privacy
What Walking Football Australia does with your information, in plain words.
Last changed 13 September 2026.
What we hold
- What you send us through a form
- Whatever you type into a contact or enquiry form, which is usually your name, your email address and your message. It is stored on this site and emailed to whoever looks after enquiries.
- The fact that you visited
- Our server keeps a short log of requests: the page, the time, your browser and your network address. It is how we find out that something is broken. Nobody reads it otherwise.
Who else sees anything
We do not sell anything about you and we do not hand it to anybody for their own use. These are the services this site needs in order to work:
- Our email provider
- Sends anything this site emails you, and knows the address it went to.
How long we keep it
For as long as you are involved with us, and for a while afterwards because people come back. Ask us to delete your record and we will, except where we have to keep something: a payment has to be accounted for, and a published result stays published because it is part of the record of a season.
What you can ask for
- A copy of everything we hold about you.
- Anything wrong corrected. Most of it you can correct yourself.
- Your record deleted, subject to the paragraph above.
- To be left alone: we will stop emailing you, and every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Passwords are stored scrambled and cannot be read back, by us or by anybody who took a copy of the database. We keep as little as we can, which is the only protection that always works.
Asking us about any of this
Email info@walkingfootballaustralia.com. We would rather sort something out with you directly than have you go elsewhere first. If we cannot, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
